Job Description

This job opportunity is with a restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not Jack in the Box Inc. This means that the independent franchisee will be your direct employer if hired, making them responsible for all aspects of employment including any job requirements, hiring decisions, wages, supervision, and scheduling. The restaurant is part of a larger well-known brand but operates with local management and autonomy offered by the independent franchise. This creates a unique working environment where local business values meet national brand standards, providing employees with a community-focused workplace backed by a trusted name in the restaurant industry.

The position available is Assistant Restaurant Manager, a role that is pivotal in the day-to-day success of the restaurant. The Assistant Manager is tasked with working alongside the Restaurant Manager or stepping in their place when needed, ensuring smooth restaurant operations. This involves recruiting, selecting, training, and developing restaurant staff to maintain a high level of service. A key part of the role is to oversee daily restaurant activities with an emphasis on delivering excellent customer service. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will utilize management information tools to analyze both operational and financial performance, helping to identify areas for improvement and ensuring the restaurant meets its business goals.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be expected to serve as a strong role model for all employees, demonstrating leadership qualities that inspire and motivate the team. Food quality and safety are prioritized, with a strong awareness and concern critical to the role. Job Requirements
