Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for 8 hours or more per shift
- Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Use of hand dexterity for various tasks
- Exposure to semi-loud noises
- High school diploma or GED
- Food Protection Manager Certification (or willingness to attain)
- 5 years customer service experience
- 2 years Barista experience
- Availability to work rotating shifts including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve
- Commitment to quality service
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Food Protection Manager Certification (or willing to obtain)
- 5 years of customer service experience
- 2 years of Barista experience
- Experience in JIT inventory management
- Strong leadership skills
- Availability for peak hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to learn and train others
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve
- Strong basic math skills
- Ability to read and speak English proficiently
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
Job Duties
- Perform all duties and responsibilities of a barista
- Perform all daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance duties
- Help ensure BigFoot Java meets sales and labor targets
- Provide leadership and training to baristas
- Follow building, health, and company culture standards
- Inspire and involve employees to succeed
- Ensure high quality customer experience
- Manage employee training, coaching, and performance
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked work environment
- Communicate with district and operations managers
- Attend mandatory meetings
- Enforce food safety and labor laws
- Manage scheduling, shifts, and coverage
- Communicate job and performance expectations
- Maintain customer service standards
- Escalate unresolved customer complaints
- Be available for on-call issues
- Work rotating schedules for training and customer service improvement
- Perform other assigned duties
