Job Description
KFC is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant brand known for its delicious fried chicken and warm customer service. Operating under a franchise model, each restaurant is independently owned and managed, allowing for a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that prioritizes both quality and community. As a leading brand in the quick-service restaurant industry, KFC continuously strives to deliver a memorable dining experience that caters to a diverse customer base. This commitment to excellence extends not only to the food served but also to the culture built within each location, fostering a family-oriented atmosphere where teamwork and efficient operations thrive.
The Assistant Manager role at KFC serves as a critical training ground for individuals aspiring to grow into restaurant management positions. This role offers a hands-on leadership experience where you will directly influence both the business outcomes and the development of your team. By partnering with the Restaurant General Manager, you will take ownership of key success metrics and lead initiatives to achieve operational goals. Your responsibilities will span ensuring a positive guest experience marked by friendly interactions, maintaining a clean restaurant environment, and delivering hot and fresh meals that meet KFC’s high standards.
In addition to managing daily operations, the Assistant Manager is instrumental in mentoring and growing the team. This involves recruiting new hires, facilitating on-the-job training, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes open communication and shared goals. As a leader, you will set the tone for a positive workplace culture that encourages both individual and team success. Your role may also include administrative duties such as preparing work schedules, ordering food and supplies, managing daily paperwork, and handling deposits.
This position demands punctual attendance, enthusiasm, a customer-centric approach, and the physical capability to perform tasks such as heavy lifting and extended standing. Candidates must be capable of adhering to safety protocols around high-temperature equipment and maintaining confidentiality regarding company operations. This job, located within an independently owned KFC franchise, gives you the unique experience of belonging to a recognized brand while working under local ownership that values strong leadership and team development. If you are goal-oriented and enjoy a fast-paced environment where your leadership directly impacts business performance and guest satisfaction, this role provides an excellent pathway to develop your restaurant management career.
