The company places a significant emphasis on employee development, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence, which has sustained its growth and popularity over the years.
The Assistant Restaurant Manager role at Braum's is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and positive individual seeking a rewarding career in food service management. This position is a crucial part of the leadership team, responsible for executing the company’s brand strategy and promoting its vision, mission, and values to ensure a superior customer experience and maximize sales. Working under the guidance of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager plays a key role in coaching, mentoring, and leading the restaurant crew to perform at their best. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.50 to $17.00, equating to an annual salary of approximately $45,500 to $49,000, along with excellent benefits and a top-tier bi-weekly bonus program.
As a Braum’s Assistant Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing the daily operations of food service, grocery market, and fountain sales, ensuring that all aspects of the store meet the company’s standards for quality and service. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory and supply levels, maintaining kitchen equipment, and enforcing safety and cleanliness protocols. A big part of this role involves fostering a positive work culture where team members feel valued, trained, and motivated to deliver excellent service. You will be expected to demonstrate strong customer focus, integrity, and the ability to adapt to changing customer and employee needs.
The work schedule is based on a rotating three-week system with an expected 45-hour workweek, primarily covering shifts from 2:00 pm until closing time. This role requires effective communication with all levels of the team, from entry-level staff to upper management. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of analyzing operational reports to identify opportunities for improvement and growth. Braum’s is also committed to equal opportunity employment and ensures a thorough onboarding process that includes a criminal background check and job-fit assessment, ensuring candidates are well-suited for the role and the company culture. If you are ready to take on a leadership position that offers career advancement, competitive pay, and a supportive work environment, Braum’s is the ideal place to grow your management career.
