Job Requirements
- Two plus years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Experience with profit and loss management including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance and labor management
- Ability to provide proper training and resources to employees
- Commitment to championing equity, inclusion and belonging in the restaurant
- Strong leadership skills in recognizing, collaborating with and motivating teams
- Experience with recruitment and hiring processes
- Strong communication skills in performance appraisals and disciplinary actions
- Adherence to corporate policies, procedures and occupational health and food safety standards
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of restaurant or retail management experience
- Strong communication skills for conducting performance appraisals, taking disciplinary action and motivating and training employees
- Ability to promote and champion KFC’s culture and values, focusing on equity, inclusion and belonging
- Experience in recruitment and team building
- Competence in handling cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance and labor management
- Familiarity with profit and loss management
- Knowledge of occupational health and food safety standards
- Ability to deliver ongoing constructive feedback and motivate team members
Job Duties
- Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the KFC Connect Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs
- Oversee team members' adherence to shift responsibilities and maintain high food safety standards
- Take charge of restaurant operations in the Restaurant General Manager's absence
- Collaborate with the RGM in assessing team performance and providing ongoing constructive and positive feedback
- Address employee relations issues as they arise, determine immediate resolutions or escalate to the RGM when necessary
- Assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring team members while driving a culture of equity, inclusion and belonging
- Assist with profit and loss management, including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance and labor management
- Review financial reports and take appropriate actions to optimize performance
- Support the RGM in facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed
