With a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high operational standards, VIOC has established itself as a trusted name in the automotive maintenance industry. Employing a diverse team of professionals, the company prioritizes inclusivity, recognizing the value of different backgrounds and experiences to foster a positive and dynamic work environment. Valvoline Instant Oil Change encourages individuals from all walks of life, including people of color, women, LGBTQIA+, veterans, and persons with disabilities to apply, emphasizing its dedication to equal opportunity employment and workplace diversity.

The role of Assistant Service Center Manager (ASCM) at Valvoline Instant Oil Change is critical to the daily operations and overall success of the service center. As the right hand to the Service Center Manager, the ASCM plays a pivotal role in building and leading a high-performance team that differentiates VIOC’s service experience from competitors. This position offers a blend of hands-on automotive work combined with leadership responsibilities, including training, advising, and supervising hourly employees to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about coaching and mentoring team members.

In this role, the Assistant Service Center Manager is responsible for performing oil changes and additional car maintenance services while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized service center. The ASCM supports the Service Center Manager by assisting in the day-to-day management of the service center, including inventory control, labor management, and financial performance oversight. The position demands a proactive approach to building trust and loyalty with customers through warm greetings and excellent service, ultimately fostering a loyal customer base.

Employees in this position enjoy competitive compensation, including a starting pay rate of $23.50 per hour, with paid on-the-job training provided, meaning no prior automotive experience is necessary. The company offers a flexible work schedule that excludes late evenings and holidays, creating a balanced work-life environment. Additionally, Valvoline Instant Oil Change provides a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, holiday pay, tuition and certification assistance, and access to a free online university. Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) savings plans with company match are part of the benefits, alongside child and elder care backup services, company uniforms and tools, and a generous discount on automotive services.

Valvoline Instant Oil Change is committed to career development, promoting from within, and providing employees with opportunities to advance through a robust training program. Candidates interested in the ASCM role can expect a supportive workplace culture focused on safety, fairness, and respect. The company strives to accommodate applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment process, ensuring an accessible hiring experience. This position is a chance to join a reputable, customer-focused company that values its team members and offers a clear pathway to career growth and success.
