Job Description

The company is currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Service Center Manager (ASCM) to join their team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Service Center Manager by leading and developing a high-performance team that delivers a service experience that stands out in the competitive market. As an ASCM, you will not only assist in the day-to-day operations of the service center but also engage directly with customers by performing oil changes and other vehicle maintenance services. The role demands strong leadership skills, the ability to train and mentor hourly employees, and a passion for customer service.

The ASCM position offers competitive weekly pay starting at $20.25 per hour with paid on-the-job training, meaning no prior automotive experience is necessary. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of cash handling and safety policies
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and climb stairs
  • Comfortable working in non-climate-controlled environments
  • Full mobility to twist, stoop, and bend
  • English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of supervisory experience, preferably in a retail environment
  • Knowledge of cash handling, facility, and safety control policies and practices
  • English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Full mobility and capability to twist, stoop, and bend
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and climb stairs

Job Duties

  • Perform oil changes and additional car maintenance services
  • Assist the Service Center Manager (SCM) in the daily operation and oversight of the service center
  • Deliver a positive first impression to each guest with a warm and friendly greeting
  • Build trust and win repeat, loyal customers
  • Support the SCM with inventory, labor management, and financial performance of the service center
  • Mentor, lead, and train the team to optimize their development
  • Help maintain a clean, well-organized service center and facilitate a safe and secure working environment
  • Become familiar with Environmental, Health & Safety compliance and other policies and procedures
