Job Description

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is a leading automotive service provider dedicated to delivering fast, efficient, and quality oil changes and maintenance services to its customers. As a reputable company in the automotive care industry, VIOC has built a strong foundation on trustworthy service and customer satisfaction, differentiating itself through a unique and high-performance service experience. Valvoline Instant Oil Change emphasizes inclusivity and diversity in its workforce, actively encouraging people of color, women, LGBTQIA+, veterans, and individuals with disabilities to apply, fostering a welcoming and supportive workplace environment.

This position is for an Assistant Service Center Manager (ASCM), a critical role that acts as the right hand to the Service Center Manager. The ASCM is entrusted with leading efforts to build and maintain a highly capable and motivated team that sets VIOC apart from other automotive service providers. The role requires a dynamic individual who can balance hands-on car maintenance duties with supervisory responsibilities. The ASCM supports the daily operations of the service center while driving team development through training, advising, and supervising hourly employees. At VIOC, every team member plays a crucial role in creating an outstanding guest experience, ensuring customer loyalty and satisfaction.

The Assistant Service Center Manager will actively perform oil changes and additional car services, while also helping to manage inventory, labor, and financial performance to ensure operational excellence. With a strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety policies, the ASCM helps maintain a clean, organized, and secure environment for all team members and customers. The role provides on-the-job paid training with no prior automotive experience required, making it accessible to those looking to advance their careers in the automotive service industry.

Valvoline Instant Oil Change offers a competitive salary of $22.50 per hour along with flexible work schedules that exclude late evenings and holidays, providing a healthy work-life balance. The position includes a broad range of benefits such as paid time off, holiday pay, tuition and certification assistance, medical and prescription drug coverage with Health Savings Account contributions, dental, vision, and a 401(k) savings plan with a 100% match up to 5%. Additional perks include backup child and elder care, company-provided uniforms and tools, and a 50% discount on Valvoline automotive services. This comprehensive package reflects VIOC's dedication to employee well-being and professional growth.

For those seeking career advancement, Valvoline Instant Oil Change offers an award-winning training program and a clear roadmap for growth within the company. The organization values fairness, safety, and honesty, promoting from within to ensure every employee’s potential can be realized. Equal opportunity employment practices are a core part of Valvoline's identity, ensuring a discrimination-free workplace that supports accessibility and accommodation throughout the recruitment and employment process. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop supervisory and technical skills in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
