Job Duties
- manage restaurant operations in conjunction with or in absence of restaurant manager
- use discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for brand values
- develop a people and guest-centric culture delivering excellent guest service and food quality
- train, develop, coach, and evaluate employee performance
- ensure systems for training employees are implemented and followed
- identify and develop internal candidates for assistant manager positions
- treat employees with respect and regularly recognize and reward them
- comply with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
- manage daily activities to achieve operational excellence
- hold team accountable for delivering excellent guest service and food quality
- review practices to improve guest experience
- interact with guests and respond to their questions, concerns, and complaints professionally
- maintain brand image through cleanliness and excellent service
- use management tools to analyze operational and financial performance
- identify trends and implement action plans
- focus on developing long-term sales growth initiatives
- consider cost-benefit impact of financial decisions
- monitor costs and adherence to budget and goals
- support company by maintaining an outstanding work environment through leadership, training, and development
