Job Description

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is a leading automotive service company specializing in fast, reliable oil changes and maintenance services. With a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and employee development, VIOC has built a reputation for excellence in the automotive service industry. Valvoline Instant Oil Change centers are known for their efficient service, expert automotive care, and a welcoming environment for customers. The company prioritizes creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where team members from various backgrounds, including people of color, women, LGBTQIA+, veterans, and persons with disabilities, can thrive and contribute to the company's success. Valvoline is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, dedicated to providing reasonable accommodations during the recruitment process and promoting a supportive work culture.

As an Assistant Service Center Manager (ASCM) at Valvoline Instant Oil Change, you will play a pivotal role supporting the Service Center Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the service center. Your primary responsibility will be to help build and lead a high-performance team dedicated to delivering an exceptional service experience that sets VIOC apart from other automotive service providers. This role is crucial in maintaining service quality and fostering customer loyalty through a positive and professional atmosphere.

This position offers competitive weekly pay starting at $20.50 per hour, along with paid on-the-job training, so no prior automotive experience is required. The ASCM will assist with oil changes, additional car maintenance services, supervise and train hourly employees, manage inventory and labor, and ensure the service center adheres to Environmental, Health & Safety compliance standards. The role combines technical skills with leadership duties, supporting the center's financial performance and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Valvoline provides a flexible work schedule with no late evenings or holiday shifts, promoting work-life balance. Employees benefit from paid time off (PTO), holiday pay, tuition and certification assistance, access to a free online university, and comprehensive medical coverage including prescription drug plans and Health Savings Account contributions. Additional benefits include dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company matching up to 5%, backup child and elder care, company-provided uniforms and tools, and a 50% discount on Valvoline Instant Oil Change services.

The career growth opportunities at VIOC are extensive, supported by award-winning training programs and a strong promotion-from-within philosophy that fosters long-term employee success and development. As part of the Valvoline family, you’ll be part of a company rooted in fairness, honesty, and safety, committed to helping you achieve your personal career milestones and aim for advancement within the organization.
