Job Description

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is a leading automotive service provider well-known for its fast, friendly, and reliable oil change and car maintenance services. As part of Valvoline, a trusted brand in the automotive industry, VIOC delivers knowledgeable service with an emphasis on convenience and customer satisfaction. The company is committed to creating a diverse and welcoming workplace culture, actively encouraging people of color, women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, veterans, and persons with disabilities to apply. Dedicated to promoting from within and fostering career development, VIOC is a great place for those seeking long-term growth opportunities within the automotive service sector. The company offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and flexible work schedules that do not require late evenings or holiday shifts.

The role of an Assistant Service Center Manager (ASCM) at Valvoline Instant Oil Change is pivotal in ensuring that each service center runs efficiently and maintains high standards of service. The ASCM works directly with the Service Center Manager to build and lead a high-performing team focused on delivering an exceptional automotive service experience that differentiates VIOC from competitors. This leadership position blends hands-on vehicle maintenance tasks with supervisory responsibilities, including mentoring employees, managing daily operations, and supporting inventory and financial controls. A key part of the job is to create a positive customer experience from the moment guests arrive, helping to establish trust and loyalty among customers. ASCMs are instrumental in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, and they become knowledgeable about important policies related to Environmental, Health & Safety compliance. The position offers on-the-job paid training, making it accessible even to candidates without prior automotive experience, alongside competitive hourly wages and a robust benefits package that includes paid time off, medical and dental coverage, tuition assistance, and more. This role is ideal for individuals who are motivated to advance their careers within a supportive, dynamic company that values diversity, inclusion, and continuous development.
