VIOC is part of Valvoline, a reputable and well-established company known for its commitment to delivering exceptional vehicle care while prioritizing customer satisfaction and safety. With locations across the United States, VIOC focuses on creating a positive experience for every guest by combining expert service with a welcoming environment. The company places a strong emphasis on inclusivity and diversity, encouraging applicants from varied backgrounds, including people of color, women, LGBTQIA+, veterans, and persons with disabilities, to join their team. VIOC values a culture where every team member’s contribution is essential to their collective success and strives to build a work atmosphere that supports growth and development.
The Assistant Service Center Manager (ASCM) role at Valvoline Instant Oil Change is a pivotal leadership position designed for individuals passionate about both automotive work and team management. As the right hand to the Service Center Manager, the ASCM leads efforts to build and maintain a high-performance team that differentiates VIOC’s service experience from other service providers. This role is not only hands-on with performing oil changes and vehicle maintenance but also critical in advising, training, and supervising hourly employees to optimize both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. ASCMs are responsible for supporting the Service Center Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, ensuring labor efficiency, and enhancing financial performance.
This position offers a competitive weekly pay of $20.25 per hour, with no requirement for prior automotive experience thanks to comprehensive paid on-the-job training. It provides a flexible schedule without late evenings or holiday shifts, fostering a healthy work-life balance. Additional benefits include paid time off, tuition and certification assistance, access to an online university, and substantial medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings plans. The company’s commitment to promoting from within offers significant career advancement opportunities for motivated team members. The ASCM will be integral in delivering a warm, friendly, and trustworthy experience that encourages repeat business and loyalty among customers, while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment. Candidates who are enthusiastic about mentoring, leading, and growing a dynamic team environment will find this role highly rewarding and impactful.
