Known for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, VIOC operates numerous service centers that prioritize both vehicle care and exceptional guest experiences. The company has earned a reputation for innovative training programs, career advancement opportunities, and a team-oriented culture that values diversity and inclusion. VIOC is dedicated to creating an empowering and welcoming workplace for all team members, emphasizing respect and support for people of color, women, LGBTQIA+, veterans, and persons with disabilities.

The role of Assistant Service Center Manager (ASCM) at VIOC is a pivotal leadership position that supports the Service Center Manager in the daily operational excellence of the service center. This role requires a dynamic and hands-on leader who not only contributes directly to vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes but also leads and develops a motivated team capable of delivering an outstanding service experience. ASCMs play a essential part in crafting a service environment that differentiates VIOC from competitors through attentive guest care, operational oversight, and employee mentorship.

As an Assistant Service Center Manager, you will be entrusted with supervising hourly employees, advising and training your team to optimize their performance while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming service environment. Attention to detail and a customer-first attitude are indispensable to creating trust and loyalty among guests. The position offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $21, along with comprehensive on-the-job training where no previous automotive experience is required, making it a fantastic opportunity for those aspiring to grow within the automotive service industry. Flexible work schedules ensure a good work-life balance, with no late evenings or holiday shifts required.

Beyond daily operational tasks, the ASCM supports inventory management, labor scheduling, and financial goals of the service center, ensuring efficiency and profitability. Valvoline fosters a culture that strongly promotes from within, providing career development pathways through paid tuition, certification assistance, and access to a free online university. Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans, among other benefits, reflect the company’s commitment to employee well-being.

This role is ideal for proactive individuals with supervisory experience, a passion for excellent service, and the physical ability to handle the demands of automotive work in varied environments. VIOC values equal employment opportunities and openly encourages a diverse range of candidates to apply, underscoring their dedication to inclusivity and fair treatment. Join VIOC as an Assistant Service Center Manager and take charge in helping build a high-performance team while advancing your career in a rewarding and supportive setting.
