Job Requirements
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications are a plus
- ability to work various shifts including weekends
- ability to stand and exert mobility for up to ten hours
- capability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to read and write for communication
- finger and hand dexterity for using tools and equipment
- strong leadership abilities
- excellent problem-solving skills
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- cultivates a culture in accordance with the Flynn Applebee's Premier Card of core values and beliefs
- ensures the immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints
- ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits
- maintains departmental inventory levels
- ensures product preparation and presentation uncompromisingly meeting company standards by performing line checks
- effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
- maintains effective safety and security programs
- promotes and leads restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation
- performs routine maintenance and reports needed repairs
- promotes quality recruitment and referrals of potential team members and management candidates
- promotes Flynn Applebee's training procedures for new managers
- helps maintain a trained staff through employment orientation, training sessions, employee meetings, and policy implementation
- participates in employee development through one-on-one meetings and performance documentation
- assesses employee efficiency and provides fair feedback regularly
- monitors employee performance and documents situations requiring corrective action
- ensures compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- controls costs in assigned departments
- complies with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- drives bi-weekly or weekly food and liquor inventories
- prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- assures sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and company standards
- provides a role model for managers and employees
- develops proficiency in store-related technology
- works in all positions including cooking, seating guests, bartending
- uses the Management Development Program for continuous leadership growth
