The company is known for its dedication to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences while fostering a culture that emphasizes family values and community engagement. Panda Express is committed to the professional and personal growth of its team members, providing a supportive work environment and opportunities for career advancement. As a well-established leader in the restaurant industry, Panda Express offers a dynamic workplace where employees are inspired to better their lives and contribute meaningfully to the communities they serve.

We are currently seeking experienced leaders to join our store management team as Assistant Managers. This is a full-time role that plays a pivotal part in the success of a single Panda Express restaurant. As an Assistant Manager, you will assist in overseeing the daily operations, including hiring and managing associates, driving financial performance, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding guest experiences. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping the store's success and maintaining the high standards for which Panda Express is known.

To set you up for success, Panda Express provides a comprehensive paid Store Management Leadership Training program lasting three or more weeks. Alongside hands-on training, you will benefit from mentorship and ongoing support from the Panda community, which is deeply invested in your professional growth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those passionate about management and leadership within the fast-paced food service industry, with potential advancement into further management positions.

In addition to a vibrant and engaging work environment, Panda Express rewards its Assistant Managers with a generous compensation package including bonus opportunities, free meals during shifts, and various insurance benefits such as medical, vision, dental, and voluntary short-term disability coverage for full-time associates. Employees can also take advantage of pre-tax dependent care flexible spending accounts, a 401K plan with company match, and paid time off including holidays, bereavement leave, and a leave share program. Furthermore, team members enjoy discounts at theme parks and gyms, opportunities to give back to their communities, ongoing career and leadership development programs, and education assistance through scholarships.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and demonstrate flexibility to work within a 50-mile radius of the store location, including weekends. Serve Safe certification or equivalent food safety training is also required to ensure compliance with the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. This role demands the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage conflicts effectively, and maintain excellent verbal communication skills.

Working at Panda Express involves hands-on tasks such as preparing hot and cold foods, operating kitchen equipment, and standing for extended periods. The physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and reaching across counters measured at 36 inches. The kitchen environment can be hot and noisy, requiring adaptability and stamina.
