Over the decades, Panda Express has grown to become the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States, boasting nearly 2,800 locations worldwide. This impressive expansion demonstrates the brand's dedication to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences while fostering a family-oriented culture. The company prides itself on its commitment to the professional and personal development of its associates, emphasizing a supportive and inclusive work environment. Panda Express is recognized not only for its delicious and convenient food but also for its strong organizational values that prioritize the growth and wellbeing of its employees.

This role plays a crucial part in the operational success of a single store, encompassing a broad range of responsibilities from hiring and managing associates to driving financial performance and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. As an Assistant Manager, you will be immersed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your leadership skills will be essential in making your store thrive. Panda Express provides its associates with a flexible and inclusive workplace, requiring availability to work within a 50-mile radius of the store and adaptable scheduling that includes weekends. The role demands adherence to food safety protocols, including Serve Safe certification, and the physical ability to perform tasks such as standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Beyond the role itself, Panda Express rewards its associates generously. Benefits include free meals during shifts, a competitive compensation package with bonus opportunities, and extensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time associates. Employees can also take advantage of pre-tax dependent care flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid time off including holidays and bereavement leave. Additional perks include discounts at theme parks and gyms, career and leadership development programs, continuous education assistance, and a robust income protection plan including disability, life, and accident insurance. This comprehensive benefits package reflects Panda Express's commitment to supporting its workforce both professionally and personally.

As an equal opportunity employer, Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is dedicated to fostering a diverse workplace free from discrimination. The company complies fully with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), offering reasonable accommodations throughout the hiring and employment process to ensure all individuals have the opportunity to succeed. Employees at Panda Express are part of a vibrant community where family values guide the culture, and every team member is encouraged to contribute to the communities they serve.
