This expansive growth reflects its dedication not only to delivering high-quality, flavorful Asian dishes but also to fostering an inclusive culture that emphasizes family values and community impact. The company prides itself on building an organization where associates are inspired to improve their lives both professionally and personally. Panda Express is deeply committed to the development of its team members, providing paid Store Management Leadership Training, ongoing mentorship, and support through its Panda community. This commitment ensures that associates can grow along with the company, benefiting from continuous career and leadership development programs, comprehensive training, and educational assistance.
The role of an Assistant Manager at Panda Express serves as a vital part of the store's operational leadership team. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in managing all facets of a single store’s operations while driving the store to achieve its financial goals and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This includes recruiting, hiring, managing, and directing associates within the store. To set you up for success, Panda Express provides an intensive store leadership training program lasting three or more weeks. This program is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in your role by helping you develop leadership qualities that promote teamwork, efficiency, and operational excellence.
In this role, your duties will range from managing daily store functions, monitoring financial performance, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and fostering a positive work environment for associates. Your contribution directly impacts the store's success and the company’s reputation as a leader in the fast-food industry. You will work closely with the store team to motivate and engage employees, leading by example to maintain Panda’s high standards for hygiene, quality, and customer service. The company offers a generous compensation package that includes opportunities for bonuses, free meals during working hours, medical, vision, dental insurance, 401K with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, discounts, and many other benefits. Panda Express also provides a supportive work environment that embraces diversity and inclusion, encouraging candidates from all backgrounds to apply and grow within the organization. The company adheres to ADA guidelines and provides reasonable accommodation during the application and interview process, ensuring a fair recruitment experience for all applicants.
