This job opening is with a restaurant independently owned and operated by a franchisee of Del Taco, a popular fast-food chain known for its fresh Mexican-inspired cuisine and excellent customer service. Unlike corporate-owned locations, this restaurant is managed by an independent franchisee who serves as the direct employer responsible for all aspects of employment. This includes setting the requirements for the job, making hiring and firing decisions, establishing wages, scheduling, supervision, and all other employment-related matters. Working at this franchise means you will be part of a locally managed team, delivering the beloved Del Taco brand experience with a strong focus on community and customer satisfaction.
The position is for a key managerial role, either supporting the General Manager or acting as the lead manager in the restaurant. The main goal of this role is to uphold and protect the Del Taco brand through operational excellence, team leadership, and outstanding customer service. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of management experience in restaurant or related field
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to manage schedules and staffing
- Familiarity with cash handling and inventory processes
- Physical ability to perform restaurant duties
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
