This job opportunity is offered by an independently owned and operated Del Taco restaurant franchise, distinct from Del Taco LLC. As an independent franchisee, the employer overseeing this role is responsible for all employment-related matters such as hiring, wages, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. The position available is for a key leadership role, either supporting the General Manager or assuming the lead manager duties. You will be responsible for evaluating team member performance, recommending promotions or disciplinary actions when necessary, and mentoring employees to help them grow professionally.

Part of your responsibilities will also include managing resources efficiently by monitoring inventory, controlling waste, ensuring proper cash handling procedures, and complying with labor laws.

Meeting and exceeding sales and profitability goals is a major focus of this role. This involves assisting in setting and communicating sales objectives, optimizing staffing schedules according to sales projections, and participating in local store marketing initiatives to attract new customers. You are expected to understand the local market and competition and to execute promotional campaigns flawlessly.
