Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- minimum 2-3 years of experience in restaurant management
- ability to work flexible hours and weekends
- stand and move for up to 10 hours
- lift up to 50 pounds safely
- read and write for effective communication
- possess finger and hand dexterity for equipment use
- willingness to perform multiple roles within the restaurant
- commitment to uphold company policies and health standards
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- serve safe food and serve safe alcohol certifications preferred
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent problem-solving abilities
- outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle stress and maintain composure
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- experience in employee training and development
- capability to work various shifts including weekends
- proficiency with management and inventory systems
Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines
- cultivates a culture aligned with Flynn Applebee's core values
- addresses and corrects all guest complaints immediately
- conducts required table visits for guest engagement
- maintains departmental inventory levels
- performs line checks to meet product preparation and presentation standards
- schedules employees based on sales demands
- maintains safety and security programs
- promotes cleanliness and sanitation in the restaurant
- reports maintenance needs to upper management
- leads recruitment and training of staff and management candidates
- conducts employee development and performance assessments
- documents employee performance and manages disciplinary actions
- ensures compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- controls departmental costs
- conducts food and liquor inventories as requested
- prepares and submits accurate daily paperwork
- upholds sanitation standards meeting or exceeding health department regulations
- acts as a role model for staff
- develops proficiency with store-related technology
- willing and able to work in all positions including cooking, expo, seating guests, and bartending
- uses Management Development Program for growth
