The company is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences, while fostering a culture rooted in family values and a supportive community environment. Panda Express continuously invests in the professional and personal development of its associates, offering a variety of training and mentorship programs to nurture leadership and career growth.
Panda Express is actively seeking experienced and motivated individuals to join its store management team as Assistant Managers. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced restaurant environment where you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of a single store. The position includes responsibilities such as hiring, training, and managing associates while driving the achievement of financial goals and maintaining high standards of customer service.
To prepare candidates for success, Panda Express provides comprehensive Store Management Leadership Training lasting three or more weeks, coupled with ongoing mentorship and support from the larger Panda community. The role requires flexibility in working locations within a 50-mile radius and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends. Panda Express also strongly supports employee well-being by offering attractive benefits and a rewarding compensation package, including a competitive hourly wage range from $27 to $30 depending on experience and location.
The company is proud to offer full-time associates access to medical, vision, dental, and additional insurance options as well as a 401K retirement plan with company match. Employees also benefit from generous paid time off, paid holidays, and leave programs such as bereavement and funeral leave. Additional perks include free meals during shifts, discounts on theme parks and gym memberships, and opportunities to participate in community outreach and charitable activities. Panda Express fosters a culture of continuous learning through education assistance, scholarships, and a structured career development path with opportunities for advancement into higher management roles.

It complies with all federal, state, and local laws regarding workplace accommodation and accessibility for individuals with disabilities, emphasizing respect, diversity, and support for every associate. If you are passionate about leadership, motivated by guest service excellence, and eager to grow your career, the Assistant Manager position at Panda Express offers a fulfilling and rewarding environment to thrive.
