Job Description

Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) is a leading automotive service company specializing in quick and reliable oil changes and vehicle maintenance. Valvoline has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality automotive services while emphasizing customer satisfaction and safety. Operating nationwide, VIOC prides itself on creating a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming workplace environment where employees from all backgrounds can thrive, grow, and contribute to its continued success. The company is committed to promoting from within and providing extensive training to help employees advance their careers. Valvoline supports its workforce with competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a positive company culture that values respect, professionalism, and teamwork.

The role of the Assistant Service Center Manager (ASCM) at VIOC is an essential leadership position responsible for supporting the Service Center Manager in overseeing daily operations while delivering superior service experiences to customers. As the right hand to the manager, the ASCM leads by example by actively working on vehicles, engaging with guests, and fostering a performance-driven team environment. This role emphasizes the importance of advising, coaching, and supervising hourly employees to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This position offers competitive weekly pay starting at $21.25 per hour and includes paid on-the-job training, making it ideal for candidates without prior automotive experience who are eager to learn and grow. The ASCM works a flexible schedule without late evenings or holidays, providing an attractive work-life balance. Benefits include paid time off, holiday pay, tuition and certification assistance, and access to a free online university that supports continuous learning and professional development.

The Assistant Service Center Manager will be instrumental in differentiating Valvoline Instant Oil Change’s service experience from competitors by fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere for customers. This role requires dedication to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe service center while remaining compliant with environmental, health, and safety standards. The ASCM will assist with labor management, inventory control, and financial performance, driving operational success and helping the service center achieve its business goals.

Valvoline values diversity and inclusivity highly, welcoming applications from people of color, women, LGBTQIA+, veterans, and people with disabilities. As a company committed to equal opportunity, Valvoline offers reasonable accommodations throughout the recruitment and selection process to ensure all candidates can apply comfortably.

Joining Valvoline Instant Oil Change as an Assistant Service Center Manager means becoming part of a supportive 'Vamily' that offers an award-winning training program, the opportunity for career growth, and a workplace culture centered on respect and fairness. This role not only offers a chance to develop leadership skills in the automotive industry but also the opportunity to make a direct positive impact on guests and team members alike. If you are motivated by working with people, have a passion for helping customers, and want to grow with a trusted brand, this position provides a solid foundation for long-term career advancement.
