Job Description
Located at 1395 Edgewater St NW Suite 100, Oregon 97304, our establishment is a vibrant pizza restaurant dedicated to delivering delicious, high-quality food in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for crafting the perfect pizza experience. Our team is composed of enthusiastic individuals who thrive in a dynamic work environment, continuously aiming to meet and exceed customer expectations. As part of our ongoing growth and commitment to maintaining operational excellence, we are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our Bend location. The role is perfect for someone who has experience in the pizza industry, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and possesses leadership qualities to help guide the team towards success.
The Assistant Manager position is instrumental in ensuring smooth daily operations by supporting the General Manager and stepping in to lead opening and closing shifts. This role requires a hands-on leader who is well-versed in managing staff, inventory, and health and safety compliance while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include supervising team members, training staff to meet performance standards, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that the restaurant upholds all regulatory health and safety requirements. The Assistant Manager also acts as a key problem solver, handling customer requests and resolving issues promptly to guarantee an enjoyable dining experience.
This full-time position demands flexibility, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support the operational needs of the restaurant. The Assistant Manager is also entrusted with handling cash safely, including managing the safe during shifts, verifying register counts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting at the end of each day. The role requires excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and general managers, ensuring that information on any incidents, such as equipment failures or inspections, is promptly reported.
In addition to operational duties, the Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, ensuring all Zenput tasks—a digital checklist system—are completed timely. Being a keyholder, the Assistant Manager is responsible for securing the store after closing and overseeing the security of the premises. This role offers a unique opportunity for pizza enthusiasts who are passionate about leadership and customer service to advance their careers in a supportive environment with a focus on teamwork and quality service. If you have 2 or more years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the pizza industry, possess strong organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
