The company takes great pride in delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences to its customers through its commitment to quality food, outstanding guest service, and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. Panda Express emphasizes values rooted in family and community, striving to build an organization where individuals are inspired to grow both professionally and personally. They comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, ensuring a respectful and supportive environment for every team member.

The role of Assistant Manager at Panda Express involves being a key player in the operation and success of a single store location. This position entails a blend of leadership, operational management, and team development responsibilities. The Assistant Manager will oversee store operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences are delivered daily and that all administrative, safety, and cleanliness standards are maintained. To prepare candidates for success, Panda Express provides a comprehensive 3 or more weeks of store leadership training, giving new managers the foundational skills and knowledge needed to excel. This includes hands-on, paid training and continuous career and leadership development opportunities. The Assistant Manager position offers a generous compensation package with bonus opportunities, and full-time associates receive a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, cancer income protection insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company match. The company also offers unique perks such as free meals while working, discounts on theme parks and gym memberships, paid time off, holidays, bereavement leave, and a Leave Share Program that supports associates in times of need. Panda Express fosters a dynamic work environment that encourages flexibility, growth, and meaningful community engagement. This role demands strong organizational and leadership skills, flexibility in working hours and locations, and a commitment to upholding the company’s standards of safety and quality. It is perfect for candidates looking to advance their careers in restaurant leadership within a supportive and growth-oriented company.
