The role of Assistant Service Center Manager (ASCM) at VIOC is both dynamic and crucial to the overall success of the service center. As the right hand to the Service Center Manager, the ASCM plays a pivotal role in leading and motivating a high-performance team dedicated to delivering an exceptional service experience that differentiates VIOC from competitors. The Assistant Service Center Manager is involved closely in hands-on work, performing oil changes and additional car maintenance services while also managing guest interactions to ensure a positive first impression. Beyond technical skills, this role requires leadership in advising, training, and supervising hourly employees, fostering an environment where team members can grow and excel.
The ASCM has a multifaceted responsibility that includes assisting with daily operations, managing inventory, labor, and financial aspects of the service center, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workplace. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of supervisory experience preferably in retail
- knowledge of cash handling, facility, and safety control policies and practices
- ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand for extended periods and climb stairs
- comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
- full mobility and ability to twist, stoop, and bend
- fluency in English reading, writing, and speaking
Job Qualifications
- Six months of supervisory experience
- knowledge of cash handling, facility, and safety control policies and practices
- ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Perform oil changes and additional car maintenance services
- assist the Service Center Manager in daily operation and oversight of the service center
- deliver a positive first impression to each guest with a warm and friendly greeting
- build trust and win repeat, loyal customers
- support the Service Center Manager with inventory, labor management, and financial performance of the service center
- mentor, lead, and train the team to optimize their development
- help maintain a clean, well-organized service center and facilitate a safe and secure working environment
- become familiar with Environmental, Health & Safety compliance and other policies and procedures
