Over more than two decades, Flynn Group expanded its footprint through the strategic opening of new stores and acquisition of other franchise operators, becoming the largest Applebee's franchisee globally with over 460 restaurants in 24 states in the US. This impressive growth reflects the company's commitment to operational excellence, strong leadership, and a core set of values centered on genuine care, teamwork, and competitive spirit. Flynn Group's portfolio now includes seven premier brands, with Applebee's being a flagship entity alongside other notable names such as Arby's, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Planet Fitness. The company's mission is to be the premier operator within each brand it manages, focusing on high standards of service, quality, and community engagement.
The Flynn Applebee's Assistant Manager role is a critical leadership position responsible for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. This role requires a dynamic leader who can inspire both guests and staff to be passionate about their experience every day. The Assistant Manager acts as a frontline leader handling various challenges with poise and problem-solving skills, ensuring the team works efficiently and cohesively. This position demands involvement in all operational aspects, including customer service excellence, staff management, inventory control, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Working as an Assistant Manager at Applebee's under Flynn Group provides an opportunity to develop leadership skills through continuous training programs and hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes potential monthly bonuses depending on location, with comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, dental and vision coverage, profit sharing, a 401k plan with matching, paid vacation, sick leave, and additional perks like short and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, legal assistance, and critical illness insurance. Assistants managers with six months of continuous employment receive paid time off starting at five days with incremental increases based on tenure. Part-time managers receive prorated benefits proportional to their hours worked. Physical demands of the role include the ability to stand and move for up to 10 hours, lift weights up to 50 pounds, and work varied shifts including weekends.
