As an Applebee's® Assistant Manager within Flynn Group, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. This position requires someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences and creating a positive, energetic work environment for the team. You'll be expected to lead by example, demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, and effectively manage stress while maintaining a positive attitude. The role demands hands-on engagement, from overseeing customer service and staff management to ensuring operational efficiency according to set company standards.

Compensation for this role ranges from $20.98 to $27.27 per hour, translating to approximately $60,000 to $78,000 annually based on a 50-hour workweek, with potential eligibility for monthly bonuses depending on location.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in the restaurant industry
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends
- Physical ability to stand and exert mobility for up to ten hours
- Capability to lift items up to 50 pounds safely
- Good reading and writing skills to facilitate communication
- Must be willing and able to work in all restaurant positions as needed
- Compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Job Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years restaurant management experience
- Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications a plus
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to upholding company core values
Job Duties
- Ensures timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit
- Cultivates a culture in accordance with the Flynn Applebee's Premier Card of core values and beliefs
- Ensures the immediate response and correction of all verbal guest complaints to self and staff
- Ensures guest contact as a priority with completion of required table visits established by Flynn Applebee's standards
- Maintains departmental inventory levels
- Ensures product preparation and presentation uncompromisingly meeting company standards by performing line checks
- Effectively schedules employees to meet sales demands
