Job Description
Flynn Group is a major franchise operator known for its substantial presence in the restaurant industry. Established in 1999 by Greg Flynn, the company has grown into the largest franchise operator in the world, managing a diverse portfolio of iconic and world-class brands such as Applebee's, Arby's, Panera Bread, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy's, and Planet Fitness. Flynn Group's primary mission is to be the premier operator within each of these brands by focusing on core values: care genuinely for people, play like a champion, and win as one. Flynn Panera, a subdivision of Flynn Group, entered the Panera Bread franchise system in 2015 with the acquisition of 47 cafes and has since rapidly expanded to become the second largest Panera franchisee worldwide. The company continues this growth by building new stores and acquiring other franchise operators, operating with a decentralized business model where each geographic area is led by a Market Leader, supported by Area Directors, General Managers, Assistant Managers, and Team Managers. This organizational structure allows for focused leadership and management to ensure operational excellence across all cafes.
Flynn Panera cafes are known for their upscale and friendly atmosphere, featuring freshly baked artisan breads and pastries, made-to-order soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso beverages. Unique to Flynn Panera is a grease and alcohol-free environment, with no fryers or late-night hours, creating a positive and healthy workplace for all associates. The Manager role is pivotal to sustaining the brand's reputation for quality and customer service. Managers are responsible for supervising up to 75 staff members, leading the team by example, and fostering an environment where associates can thrive. They ensure high standards in cleanliness, sanitation, food quality, safety, and facility management, maintaining the warmth and friendliness Panera is known for. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about restaurant management, keen on motivating and developing their teams, creating profitable operations, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Flynn Panera seeks experienced restaurant professionals with excellent interpersonal skills and a steady employment record who embody a "run it like you own it" mentality, making this a remarkable opportunity to join a rapidly growing and respected hospitality brand.
