The company emphasizes a customer-first approach, ensuring every guest is satisfied and every employee feels valued. Braum's offers a positive work environment that fosters growth and advancement opportunities for team members who demonstrate dedication and leadership potential.
The role of Assistant Restaurant Manager, also referred to as Food Service Supervisor or Assistant Manager, is an essential leadership position within Braum's operational framework. This role focuses on executing the company's brand strategy, promoting its vision, mission, and values to generate impressive customer experiences and maximize sales. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for coaching and teaching store crew members, overseeing daily operations that include food service functions, grocery market management, and fountain sales. The position demands active participation in inventory management, equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards.
Braum's Assistant Managers are expected to uphold store policies and ensure these practices are consistently implemented. This position offers an excellent compensation package, with hourly wages ranging from $16.50 to $17.00, translating to an annual salary approximately between $42,500 and $44,500. Work schedules are based on a rotating 3-week schedule with an average 45-hour work week, starting from 2:00 pm until close. The company also provides a top-tier bi-weekly bonus program and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, vision coverage, a 401k plan with company match, short-term disability insurance, paid vacations, and product discounts.
Candidates for this role should have at least two years of retail management experience, possess strong leadership qualities with the ability to build, motivate, and maintain high-performing teams. They must demonstrate excellent communication skills, effective problem-solving capabilities, and a strong work ethic with a commitment to integrity. A high school diploma or GED is required, and the candidate must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver’s license. Braum's is an equal opportunity employer that seeks individuals who can adapt to changing customer and employee needs, analyze performance reports, and consistently strive to meet or exceed store goals.
