Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of hospitality management experience
  • Ability to stand and move actively for up to 10 hours
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
  • Strong reading and writing skills
  • Dexterity for handling small tools and equipment
  • Must embrace the "Run it Like You Own It Mentality"
  • Ability to work morning hours
  • Steady and stable employment history
  • Strong attention to detail and outstanding interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of hospitality management experience
  • Degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or hotel/restaurant management preferred
  • Food management certifications a plus
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and control costs
  • Proven track record in employee development and retention
  • Ability to work morning shifts and no late night shifts

Job Duties

  • Taking responsibility for overall business performance, including ordering, scheduling, labor management, marketing, facilities management, bakery operations, and catering
  • Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability
  • Creating and executing plans for sustained profitability
  • Serving as the primary conduit of information between associates and management
  • Retaining and developing team members and managers
  • Managing a budget and controlling costs
  • Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts
  • Greeting customers and performing table visits to ensure satisfaction
  • Inspiring associates to have fun and be authentic while maintaining high productivity
  • Coaching and mentoring associates through one-on-ones, performance documentation, and reviews
  • Anticipating problems and taking proactive measures
  • Serving as the primary resource for resolving associate questions
  • Ensuring associates are properly trained and fully competent in all aspects of food service and customer support
  • Recruiting and training staff to meet staffing par levels
  • Operating within company guidelines, cultural values, and ethical business practices
  • Exhibiting a professional image and promoting company values
