Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds

  • Must own personal set of tools
  • Knowledge of general maintenance
  • Comfort repairing HVAC, plumbing, appliances, electrical, and pool equipment
  • Ability to use property management software
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including on-call duties

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in general maintenance and repair work
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and pool equipment maintenance
  • Ability to use property management software for inspections and reporting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow safety regulations and protocols

Job Duties

  • Follow all Hanover Maintenance and Quality Assurance standards for safety and cleanliness in routine property walks, including but not limited to the tour route, trash/dumpster/compactor areas, pool and fountain areas, landscaping, sidewalks, driveways and parking areas, and building exterior
  • Document any liabilities or issues in the property management software using inspections
  • Routinely complete required logs using property management software inspections
  • Complete required weekly and monthly reporting to ensure compliance and standards are met according to quality assurance policies
  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing property operations, including completion of basic make readies and in-house duties such as sheetrock repairs, patches, touch up and full paints, shampooing carpets and common areas, and other maintenance tasks
  • Complete service requests, make readies, and inspections in a timely manner
  • Follow all safety programs implemented by Hanover and local/state policy
