Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in security, loss prevention, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Criminal Justice or related major
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in security, loss prevention, or related professional area
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local safety laws and regulations
  • Ability to conduct hazard and risk assessments
  • Proficiency in security technology operations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work full time in a management capacity
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 3 years experience in security or loss prevention, or 2-year degree in Criminal Justice or related field with 1 year experience
  • Strong knowledge of security operations and safety regulations
  • Experience with hazard and risk assessments and OSHA compliance
  • Ability to manage and train staff effectively
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficient in operating security technology such as CCTV and alarm systems
  • Customer service oriented with a commitment to guest and employee satisfaction
  • Ability to work within budget parameters and handle emergency situations calmly

Job Duties

  • Assist in the management of daily security and loss prevention operations
  • Maintain logs, certifications, and documents required by law and company standards
  • Conduct hazard and risk assessments including OSHA and safety audits
  • Develop and enforce shutdown procedures to secure the property
  • Monitor and inspect CCTV equipment, alarmed doors, and duress alarms
  • Perform patrols encompassing all areas of the property’s interior and exterior
  • Investigate incidents related to guests and employees and manage emergency response
  • Handle complaints, resolve disputes, and negotiate conflicts
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services
  • Oversee Accident Prevention Committee and first aid programs
  • Monitor claims processes for general liability and workers’ compensation
