Job Requirements

  • must be at least 21 years old
  • willingness to work 50-60 hours per week
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and some holidays
  • compliance with local and state licensing requirements
  • ability to maintain focus and show up prepared
  • ability to respond proactively and take ownership
  • commitment to fostering a positive and professional kitchen atmosphere

Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of management experience in a full-service restaurant
  • preferred scratch kitchen experience
  • exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • financial awareness
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • ability to read, understand, and communicate fluently in English
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • capability to stand for 10 hours during shifts

Job Duties

  • oversee kitchen operations including dish, prep, and line stations
  • mentor kitchen managers and team members
  • monitor work schedules and manage kitchen operating systems
  • utilize POS systems, scheduling software, inventory management, and Microsoft Office
  • conduct line checks and create prep lists
  • manage inventory supply orders
  • ensure a safe, clean, and healthy working environment and uphold food safety standards
  • lead training initiatives and new menu introductions
  • engage in kitchen team member hiring processes
  • conduct side-by-sides with team members to enhance skills
  • uphold accountability for food preparation quality standards
  • contribute to weekly inventory assessments
  • promote effective communication between kitchen and front-of-house
  • lead community meetings and guide managers
  • manage private events including themed wine club dinners
  • embody company values and foster a positive kitchen atmosphere
  • develop and retain kitchen staff through coaching
  • celebrate team achievements
