Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age upon hire date
  • must have reliable transportation
  • completion of food safety certification within the first month of employment is required
  • completion of a skills-based certification within the first 120 days of employment is mandatory
  • must be able to work varied hours, days, and shifts as needed
  • ability to stand for extended periods of 8 to 10 hours
  • ability to multitask and perform repeated bending, standing, reaching
  • occasional lifting and pushing or pulling of up to 50 pounds
  • comfortable working in environments with wet floors, temperature fluctuations, and loud noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • basic understanding of inventory and labor cost management
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • leadership or supervisory experience a plus
  • completion of food safety certification within the first month
  • completion of a skills-based certification within 120 days

Job Duties

  • Interact with customers and employees in a respectful, courteous manner

  • conduct weekly inventory counts and generate cost of sales reports
  • manage and audit inventory levels to ensure budget alignment
  • collaborate with the Kitchen Manager to assist in managing labor costs and scheduling employees
  • assist in enforcing food safety and health policies for a compliant environment
  • stock food and beverage areas to maintain inventory
  • prepare made to order food and beverages according to recipes and customer specifications
  • ensure safe food handling procedures are maintained
  • communicate procedures, promotions, and new products to employees and customers
  • perform additional tasks as assigned to support department success
