Job Requirements

  • understanding of hospitality excellence and kitchen standards
  • food handling and sanitation protocols
  • proficiency in inventory and labor cost management
  • experience with POS systems and cash handling
  • ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language of the work environment
  • physical stamina to reach, bend, push, and pull items throughout the shift
  • capable of lifting up to 50 pounds frequently

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 2 years of management experience in a full-service restaurant
  • expertise in kitchen operations, butchering skills, and portion control
  • strong communication and organizational abilities

Job Duties

  • support the executive chef in daily kitchen operations and management tasks
  • oversee and lead back-of-house team members, ensuring a seamless food production process
  • provide training, coaching, and mentorship to kitchen staff, while offering feedback for their growth
  • manage the ordering and receiving of produce, seafood, and other food supplies
  • conduct regular inventory checks and manage inventory levels effectively
  • create staff schedules to maintain efficient kitchen operations
  • participate in the hiring process to build a strong culinary team
  • engage in butchering and portion control tasks during shifts
  • foster a positive work environment that emphasizes high-quality food preparation and a clean, organized workspace
