As part of Bloomin' Brands, a leading hospitality company, Outback Steakhouse embraces a culture that values bold personalities, teamwork, and a shared passion for delivering an "AUSS-SOME" experience to every guest. The company places a strong emphasis on creating a workplace that fosters pride, enjoyment, and personal growth among its employees, known affectionately as "Outbackers." This dedication to both guest satisfaction and employee empowerment has established Outback Steakhouse as a preferred employer within the hospitality industry.

The role of Assistant Kitchen Manager at Outback Steakhouse is designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about leadership, operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards in a dynamic kitchen environment. This position operates with limited supervision and plays a pivotal role in supporting the back-of-house team and Kitchen Managers to ensure that restaurant kitchen standards consistently meet quality, safety, and operational goals. As an Assistant Kitchen Manager, you will be instrumental in guiding team members through daily preparations, maintaining sanitation protocols, managing inventory, and ensuring timely food preparation to exceed customer expectations.

This role demands a hands-on leader with a coaching mindset who thrives in a fast-paced setting and values collaboration. The Assistant Kitchen Manager is expected to monitor daily operations closely, including temperature checks, inventory management, and adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines. With a focus on operational excellence and team development, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring others, problem-solving, and contributing to a positive work environment that aligns with the company’s core values.

Outback Steakhouse offers a competitive compensation range of $15.00 to $22.00 per hour, along with a flexible work schedule. Benefits provided through Bloomin' Brands include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans, supporting employees' health and financial well-being. The Assistant Kitchen Manager role is not only a pathway to career advancement within the hospitality sector but also a chance to be part of a brand that values fun, respect, and professional development.
