The Assistant Bakery Manager at Nothing Bundt Cakes plays a vital role in supporting the Bakery Manager and team to achieve operational excellence. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 to 3 years customer engagement experience in retail, dining, or food service
- demonstrated leadership and managerial skills in a lead position
- basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- full-time availability with minimum 42 hours per week, increasing to 55 hours during holiday periods
- willingness to work Saturdays when necessary

Job Duties
- Give top priority to enhancing the guest experience

- act as partner to Bakery Manager in supervising customer experience, cake development, branding, product exhibition, work environment, and inventory regulation
- recruit, train, and supervise team members
- delegate daily tasks
- offer advice and coaching on performance
- oversee adherence to product, service, bakery environment, and visual merchandising criteria
- ensure compliance with food safety regulations and operational procedures
- assist in operational and administrative duties including production scheduling, goal setting, team scheduling, supply ordering, sales and labor reporting, basic accounting, expense management, and payroll processing
- supervise customized order fulfillment using web-based solutions and email interactions
- oversee bakery shift commencement and conclusion, including cash reconciliation and bank deposits
- participate in executing marketing strategies and community events
- stay updated with bakery roles and undertake different responsibilities as needed
