Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours)
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
- Able to work 45 to 55 hours per week
- Able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant's trade area
- Willingness to obtain food safety certification
- Must have stamina and physical capability for restaurant work
- Possess basic math skills
- Experience in supervisory or managerial roles
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
- Ownership mindset for shift management
- Positive attitude and natural communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of restaurant experience in hourly or leadership roles
- Experience supervising or managing a team
- Proficient with Point of Sale systems and basic cash management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Growth mindset and eagerness to develop
- Ability to coach and motivate team members
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain
- Knowledge of food and beverage quality standards
- Ability to work in both Front of House and Heart of House operations
- Ability to manage fast-paced service environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and guest service orientation
Job Duties
- Become a Snooze expert knowledgeable of company history, vendors, products, and locations
- Share the Snooze story confidently with guests
- Understand and enforce all Snooze policies and procedures
- Ensure exceptional, friendly, and courteous guest service
- Maintain expert knowledge of recipes and food and beverage standards
- Monitor food and beverage quality to meet Snooze standards
- Execute daily safety, sanitation, and recipe checklists
- Manage areas such as ordering, scheduling, inventory, and hiring
- Administer Point of Sale system including discounts and cash handling
- Resolve escalated guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Communicate shift information and initiatives to hourly staff
- Manage service flow to ensure outstanding guest and team experiences
- Conduct Snoozer performance evaluations and coaching
- Open and close the restaurant per procedures
- Schedule and monitor staff training and support cross-training
- Inspect and maintain equipment cleanliness and function
- Lead by example following Snooze leadership principles
- Support marketing initiatives, catering, and events
- Assist in FOH or HOH operations maintaining flexibility
- Role model and facilitate training in various positions
- Conduct annual Snoozer performance check-ins
- Foster a safe, fun, and rewarding workplace environment
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor, and food regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
