Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years of kitchen experience
  • Current Food Handler's Permit
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle conflict professionally
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Some college education preferred
  • Two years of kitchen experience preferred
  • Possess a current Food Handler's Permit
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and listening abilities
  • Ability to handle conflict professionally and appropriately
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures
  • Able to accept constructive feedback and be accountable
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Integrity and positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of all kitchen products and services
  • Maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels
  • Confirm pricing accuracy and signage for all products
  • Ensure the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Order products and create production sheets based on sales data
  • Participate actively in the Safety Committee
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and timely
  • Set a professional and positive example
  • Communicate openly with Store Director and Director of Kitchen Operations
  • Maintain company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity
  • Teach, mentor, and educate associates
  • Provide feedback and assess associate performance
  • Write kitchen schedules to ensure coverage and labor goals
  • Conduct quarterly inventory of kitchen products
