Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment
  • Effective leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights

  • Previous experience in kitchen supervision or management

Job Duties

  • Supervises and oversees the production of food
  • Enforces compliance with employment policies in area of responsibility
  • Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
  • Manages through hands-on supervision including serving, hosting, and cooking
  • Conducts formal line taste and temperature checks
  • Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
  • Manages inventory and tracks waste at the direction of Kitchen Manager
  • Monitors and maintains cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment
  • Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales
  • Practices safe food handling procedures
  • Ensures Back of House employees follow established recipes and procedures
  • Creates a safe environment and assists in developing Back of House employees
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety of the restaurant
  • Upholds the culture and core values of the restaurant
