Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in hotel or restaurant management preferred
  • minimum one year of leadership experience in food and beverage
  • knowledge of food and beverage operations and controls
  • proficiency with related computer systems

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree specializing in hotel or restaurant management
  • minimum one year of leadership experience in Food and Beverage, overseeing multiple outlets and departments
  • working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons cultural and core standards
  • knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
  • ability to operate computer systems including MICROS, Microsoft Office, OpenTable, labor management and payroll systems
  • positive attitude and team approach
  • ability to anticipate and prioritize guest needs
  • energetic and professional approach

Job Duties

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline employees in the Room Service department
  • plan daily activities for outlet operation
  • provide visible leadership in operations
  • handle guest complaints and special requests
  • ensure quality of food items, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits
  • control labor and operating expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, inventory, and cash control
  • attend operational meetings to coordinate between departments
  • inspect facilities and equipment, recommending improvements
  • comply with company work rules and standards of conduct
  • work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors
  • support other Food & Beverage outlets including restaurant, pool, and banquets
