Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum one year leadership experience in food and beverage
- U.S. work authorization
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible hours
- knowledge of food and beverage operations and standards
- proficiency with hospitality computer systems
- ability to handle guest requests and complaints professionally
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree specializing in hotel or restaurant management
- one year of leadership experience in food and beverage including oversight of multiple outlets
- working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons cultural and core standards
- knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
- ability to operate food and beverage computer systems including MICROS, Microsoft Office, OpenTable, and payroll systems
- positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach
- ability to anticipate and prioritize guest needs
- energetic and professional approach
Job Duties
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the room service department to ensure cultural and core standards are met
- plan daily activities and manage outlet operations
- be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle guest complaints, concerns, or special requests
- ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, and provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits
- control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and cash control
- attend regular operational meetings to coordinate between departments
- observe the condition of facilities and equipment and recommend corrections and improvements
- comply with work rules and standards of conduct
- collaborate professionally with co-workers and supervisors
- support other food and beverage outlets including restaurant, pool, and banquets
