Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum one year leadership experience in food and beverage
  • U.S. work authorization
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • knowledge of food and beverage operations and standards
  • proficiency with hospitality computer systems
  • ability to handle guest requests and complaints professionally

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree specializing in hotel or restaurant management
  • one year of leadership experience in food and beverage including oversight of multiple outlets
  • working knowledge of division operations and Four Seasons cultural and core standards
  • knowledge of food and beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
  • ability to operate food and beverage computer systems including MICROS, Microsoft Office, OpenTable, and payroll systems
  • positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach
  • ability to anticipate and prioritize guest needs
  • energetic and professional approach

Job Duties

  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the room service department to ensure cultural and core standards are met
  • plan daily activities and manage outlet operations
  • be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle guest complaints, concerns, or special requests
  • ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, and provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits
  • control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and cash control
  • attend regular operational meetings to coordinate between departments
  • observe the condition of facilities and equipment and recommend corrections and improvements
  • comply with work rules and standards of conduct
  • collaborate professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • support other food and beverage outlets including restaurant, pool, and banquets
