Sho-Pai Tribes, officially known as the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes, is a sovereign tribal government located in Owyhee, Nevada, on the Duck Valley Reservation. The organization serves more than 2,000 tribal members and upholds the shared heritage and legacy of the Western Shoshone and Northern Paiute peoples. Job Requirements
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness and ability to travel for meetings and organizational needs
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management Business Administration or Psychology
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources including 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience
- PHR SHRM-CP or THRP certification preferred
- Experience administering employee benefits and responding to employee inquiries
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes
- Experience maintaining HR systems and employee records such as MIP or similar
- Experience supporting HR operations reporting and compliance
- Experience coordinating onboarding orientation and training initiatives
- Ability to support employee relations and HR projects
- Experience supervising or guiding HR team members
Job Duties
- Managing full-cycle recruitment including sourcing screening and coordinating interviews
- Administering employee benefits programs and responding to employee inquiries
- Maintaining accurate employee records and processing employment changes
- Supporting onboarding processes and conducting employee orientations
- Assisting with HR operations reporting and departmental projects
- Overseeing HR functions in the absence of the Human Resources Director
- Supporting training development and employee engagement initiatives
- Assisting with compliance processes including drug testing and documentation
