Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service and liquor laws
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Attend required training and meetings
  • Maintain personal grooming standards
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Effective problem solving
  • Must maintain attendance standards
  • Able to cross-train in other areas

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
  • Strong knowledge of service standards and different service types
  • Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques, health department rules, and liquor laws
  • Experience handling amenities, VIP services, or guest engagement is highly desirable
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and hotel systems
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
  • Able to stand for entire shift
  • Maintain high standard of personal appearance
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and capable of handling confidential information
  • Able to cross-train in other hotel areas
  • Friendly and polished demeanor

Job Duties

  • Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and employees
  • Work closely with other departments to maintain an exceptional guest experience
  • Ensure consistency with departmental opening and closing procedures
  • Attend pre-shift meetings and communicate relevant information
  • Maintain professional relationships and open communication lines with staff
  • Operate phones and relay devices with proper radio etiquette
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by management to enhance guest experience
