This particular role is for a Department Manager, who acts as an assistant to the General Manager at a McDonald's restaurant. The position offers hourly pay between $16 and $20, dependent on experience and availability, and includes potential advancement opportunities. Department Managers have the critical responsibility of leading shifts to ensure customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service during every visit. Department Managers who oversee the Guest Service department focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere by ensuring the front counter, McCafe, and Drive-Thru areas function smoothly and efficiently. Kitchen Department Managers maintain high standards for food quality, speed of service, and food safety. They control food costs and oversee the training of kitchen staff in production procedures, especially regarding new menu items. Their role is vital in keeping the kitchen running with precision, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.

The People Department Manager plays a key role in recruitment, training, scheduling, and motivating crew members. They ensure that employees start strong, receive recognition, and stay motivated throughout their tenure with McDonald's. The ideal candidates possess McDonald's experience, which can be in any capacity, not necessarily in management roles previously.
