The role of Restaurant Assistant Manager at HAZA BELL is a vital leadership position that supports the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in overseeing the daily operations of a busy Taco Bell location. Job Requirements
- proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the restaurant industry
- leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate and inspire team members
- knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- college degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- certification in food safety advantageous
- ability to stand walk and move around the restaurant for extended periods
- lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- work in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment
- eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- college degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- proven experience in supervisory or assistant management role within the restaurant industry
- leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- strong organizational and time management skills
- certification in food safety such as ServSafe is advantageous
Job Duties
- assist the restaurant general manager in overseeing daily operations including opening and closing procedures cash handling and managing shifts
- monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness sanitation and adherence to food safety regulations
- supervise and train restaurant crew members and shift managers providing guidance feedback and coaching
- assist in scheduling shifts and managing staffing levels
- ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints
- assist in managing restaurant finances including monitoring sales expenses controlling costs and preparing financial reports
- manage inventory levels order supplies and ensure proper storage and usage of food and beverage products
