Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum 2 years of hotel management experience
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong communication abilities in English
- Financial management skills including budget and forecasting
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Office
- Ability to coach and develop team members
- Commitment to guest satisfaction and team collaboration
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- College degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of hotel management experience
- Record of progressive experience and development in hospitality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Second language a plus
- Financial skills including P&L management, expense control and forecasting
- Proven leadership ability with outstanding guest experience and team development
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Job Duties
- Lead the team to provide professional, efficient, courteous and genuine hospitality in conjunction with the GM
- Coordinate, lead and communicate with operating departments reporting to you
- Ensure security, cleanliness, preventative maintenance and safety are completed according to property specific and Brand standards
- Communicate effectively to team members and guests to enhance their experience
- Assist the GM in planning sales and marketing strategies, operating budgets, capital expenditures and human capital plans
- Participate in monthly forecasting and P&L management
- Ensure departments meet budgeted revenue and expense plans
- Enforce compliance with operating policies and procedures per Brand standards
- Step into any operational role as needed to ensure guest and team satisfaction
- Monitor Brand Service Scores and take appropriate action to maintain scores above Brand average
- Empower teams to manage guest concerns to satisfaction and provide coaching
- Provide informal and formal feedback to team members in alignment with performance development policies
- Support leadership development and promotion within the team
- Execute Manager on Duty programs for consistent leadership presence
- Ensure team attendance at mandatory meetings and training
