The venue operates year-round, providing both indoor and outdoor spaces that capture scenic views of the Watchung Mountain Range. This upscale bar features expertly handcrafted cocktails, a fine selection of locally brewed beverages, and thoughtfully curated small plates. The space is highlighted by an outdoor fire pit and accommodates private, fully catered events for groups ranging from 10 to 300 guests, making it a versatile location for casual gatherings and significant special occasions alike. The role of Assistant General Manager at The Bradford Rooftop is a vital leadership position, reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager. This role is dedicated to elevating the overall rooftop operation by leading with integrity and performance while inspiring the team. The Assistant General Manager oversees key Front of House operations, including human resources, operations management, and marketing efforts to ensure flawless execution of daily activities. They collaborate closely with a professional team and the hotel management team to maintain a seamless and unified guest experience. Responsibilities include managing shifts, optimizing staffing levels to reduce overtime, driving promotional events together with marketing, PR, and hotel teams, and establishing local business partnerships to enhance brand presence within the community. Candidates in this role will be instrumental in maintaining an energetic, top-tier service environment while upholding the highest standards of hospitality. Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as an assistant general manager, service manager, or bar manager at a full-service restaurant with a 2 million plus volume
- Ability to collaborate with marketing, PR, and hotel teams on promotional event planning
- Strong leadership skills to manage front of house operations including human resources and staffing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Willingness to step up and take on additional responsibilities
- Positive and guest-focused attitude
Job Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience as an assistant general manager, service manager, or bar manager at a full-service restaurant with a 2 million plus volume
- Promotional experience and experience with social catering events is a big plus

Job Duties
- Report directly to the restaurant general manager to elevate the rooftop operation to new heights

- Own shifts at the chic bar and expansive rooftop, creating the perfect environment for both guests and teammates
- Take charge of all front of house operations, including human resources, operations, and marketing, ensuring flawless execution
- Partner closely with the hotel management team to guarantee a seamless, unified guest experience every time
- Optimize staffing, keeping the team at the perfect levels while minimizing overtime
- Drive the creation and execution of promotional events, collaborating with marketing, PR, and hotel teams to generate buzz
