Job Description
Taco Bell is a leading fast-food restaurant chain known for its innovative Mexican-inspired menu offerings and vibrant brand culture. Established with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and quality food, Taco Bell has grown to become a prominent player in the quick-service restaurant industry. With thousands of locations worldwide, the company prides itself on fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment that encourages personal growth, team collaboration, and professional development. As a part of the Yum! Brands family, Taco Bell continually invests in its people and communities, focusing on sustainability, equity, and innovative dining experiences.
The role of Assistant General Manager at Taco Bell is pivotal to the operational success of each restaurant location. In this position, you will support the Restaurant General Manager by upholding the brand's standards and leading the team towards excellence in both customer service and operational efficiency. As an Assistant General Manager, you will lead by example, providing training, coaching, and recognition that inspire your team to deliver unforgettable customer experiences consistently. The role requires strong leadership skills to manage daily operations, team performance, and employee relations effectively.
In this dynamic position, you will oversee important aspects such as maintaining high food safety standards and ensuring adherence to the MIC Success Routine—a structured approach focusing on customer satisfaction and operational excellence. You will take charge of the restaurant's operations when the General Manager is unavailable, empowering you to make key decisions that affect the team's performance and the restaurant's success. Collaboration is central to this role, as you partner with the General Manager in recruiting, hiring, and fostering a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging within the team.
Additionally, you will assist with financial management, including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, labor management, and reviewing financial reports to optimize performance. Your commitment to facility maintenance and health and safety standards will ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both employees and customers.
This full-time position requires a workweek of approximately 50 hours and offers competitive compensation ranging from $40,000 to $58,000 annually, depending on location, experience, and qualifications. Along with the base salary, employees benefit from shift incentives, company discounts, and other rewards, making this a fulfilling career opportunity. At Taco Bell, we believe in working hard while enjoying a supportive and fun atmosphere that encourages both professional and personal growth through various development programs and benefits.
