As an established company, Wendy's prides itself on fostering a fun and family-oriented work environment where team members are valued and empowered to grow their careers. The company is dedicated to providing a stable work environment and flexible schedules, ensuring that employees enjoy a balanced quality of life while contributing to the brand's success.

The Assistant General Manager role at Wendy's is a pivotal position within the store management team, focused on supporting the General Manager in overseeing the restaurant’s daily operations. This role demands a motivated, career-minded individual who excels in leadership, team-building, and operational management. Assistant General Managers at Wendy's play a critical role in driving sales goals, enhancing customer experiences, and maintaining operational excellence. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $19.50 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits and excellent opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities include managing financial controls, staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and employee development. The role also requires ensuring compliance with food safety, equipment maintenance, health, and safety standards. Wendy's offers a clear and rewarding career path, with progression opportunities from Assistant General Manager to General Manager, Training General Manager, District Manager, and beyond. The company supports employees by providing the necessary training and development programs to help them succeed and grow within the organization. Internal promotions are merit-based, reflecting personal performance and business needs rather than tenure.

This position requires flexibility to work up to 50-55 hours per week, including rotating shifts on weekends and holidays, except Thanksgiving and Christmas when the restaurant is closed. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong customer service focus. There is a strong emphasis on leadership skills to manage a fast-paced, dynamic environment effectively. Wendy's is committed to equal opportunity employment and provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities. The company offers perks such as employee discounts, personal time off, medical, dental, and vision plans, short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan with employer match, making this an attractive career opportunity for motivated individuals seeking growth in the restaurant industry.
